Robert T.

Dr. Faillace is
the Chairman of Cardiovascular Services at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical
Center and Director of The Women’s Heart Center at St. Joseph’s.
Dr. Faillace
received his medical degree from the State University of New York-Downstate
Medical Center and completed his internship and residency at Boston City
Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of
Rochester School of Medicine. He was a National Institute of Health Research
Fellow at the University of Rochester and was selected as one of 30 national
participants for the American Heart Association’s seminar on the
epidemiology and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Faillace is
board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease,
echocardiography, clinical hypertension and nuclear cardiology. He is a
Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College
of Cardiology, and a member of the American Society of Hypertension, the
American Society of Echocardiography, and the Clinical Cardiology Council of
the American Heart Association. He is also a member of the Board of
Directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Heart Association and a
member of the New Jersey Cardiac Health Advisory Panel.
Dr. Faillace has
served as a principal or co-investigator in more than 20 cardiology research
studies and has published and presented numerous papers on various
topics in cardiovascular disease.
