HAWTHORNE GOSPEL CHURCH WELCOMES WOMEN’S HEART CENTER
The Women’s
Ministry at Hawthorne Gospel Church recently hosted a “Women and Heart
Disease” presentation where Margie Latrella, RN, MSN, Advanced Practice
Nurse in The Women’s Heart Center described women’s risk factors for heart
disease, the signs of both a heart attack and stroke and explained how heart
disease in women is diagnosed and treated. Ms. Latrella also offered
strategies for heart healthy living. Members of the Women’s Ministry,
including Sara Lauffer, President (third left) welcome Ms. Latrella. More
than 40 women attended the Saturday morning program.
