WHC STAFF  REACHES OUT TO HISPANIC WOMEN AT ST. JOSEPH’S WAYNE

The Women’s Heart Center hosted a luncheon and presentation on Mujeres Hispanas y Enfermedad Cardiaca  to Hispanic staff, family members and friends at St. Joseph’s Wayne. Given by Sylvia Schlumpf, RN, the presentation included a discussion of Hispanic women’s risk factors for heart disease, the signs of heart disease in women and offered strategies for heart healthy living. Ms. Schlumpf and Ms. Strimike are shown with the group following the presentation.
