Women's Heart Center Offers First Educational Program To Hispanic Women

 Sylvia Schlumpf,  RN, (second right) presented Mujeres y el Riesgo Cardiaco to a group of 20 Hispanic ladies at St. Theresa’s Church in Paterson. In the presentation given in Spanish, Ms. Schlumpf  explained the specific heart disease risk factors of Hispanic women, described the signs of a heart attack and outlined strategies for a heart healthy lifestyle. Joining Ms. Schlumpf are Keyla Santiago, Agnes Espinas, RN, Carolyn Strimike, MSN, RN and Mr. Varcelona, Principal of St. Theresa’s School.
