The Little Falls
Women’s Club recently hosted a one hour presentation on “Women and Heart
Disease,” presented by Carolyn Strimike, RN, MSN, Advanced Practice Nurse in
The Women’s Heart Center. In the presentation attended by more than 50
women, Ms. Strimike outlined women’s risk factors for heart disease and
stroke, explained women’s unique symptoms of a heart attack and showed case
studies of women with heart disease. Ms. Strimike (center) is shown with
officers of the Club.
