WHC STAFF PRESENT AT NATIONAL NURSES' CONFERENCE

 

Carolyn Strimike, RN, MSN  and Margie Latrella, RN, MSN, , Advanced Practice Nurses in The Women's Heart Center, attended the American College of Nurse Practitioners 2007 National Conference in San Antonio Texas.  They presented a lecture "Evaluating the Gender Gap: Heart Disease in Women" and two posters "Developing a Cardiovascular Risk Screening Program for Women" and "Under-Recognition of the Metabolic Syndrome and Accurate Cardiovascular Risk in Women"
