WESTSIDE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WELCOMES THE WOMEN’S HEART CENTER AT ST. JOSEPH’S

The Women’s Group at WestSide Presbyterian Church recently hosted a Sunday evening supper and seminar on “Women and Heart Disease,” presented by Margie Latrella, RN, MSN, Advance Practice Nurse in The Women’s Heart Center at St. Joseph’s.  In her 40-minute presentation, Ms. Latrella described women’s risk factors for heart disease, outlined the signs of a heart attack in a woman and recommended strategies for heart-healthy living. A brief demonstration of deep breathing, relaxation and stress reduction techniques was also provided. Ms. Latrella (standing, seventh left) is shown with members of WestSide’s Women’s Group.
