AT WILLOWBROOK MALL, STAFF FROM ST. JOSEPH’S

PROVIDE HEALTHY HEART INFORMATION

 

 

Nurses, nursing students and other clinical staff from both St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital and The Women’s Heart Center at St. Joseph’s provided a range of “healthy heart” information to shoppers at  Wayne’s Willowbrook Mall on Saturday, February 3. The Health Fair, held in conjunction with Healthy Heart month and the national observance of GO RED FOR WOMEN,  included information on women’s risk for heart disease, diabetes management, eating for a healthy heart, exercise, stroke prevention and blood pressure screenings. Some of the St. Joseph’s staff who participated included  (standing) Agnes Espinas, RN,  Nursing students Lisa Garcia and Renee Miller, Mary Schneider, RN, Joanne Leichtweitz, RD, Margie Latrella, RN and (seated) Caryn Berkowitz, RN and Carolyn Strimike, RN.
