WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS WELCOME WOMEN’S HEART CENTER STAFF

The Passaic Chapter of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) hosted a “Women and Heart Disease” presentation at their first meeting of the new year. The lecture, given by Margie Latrella, RN, MSN Advanced Practice Nurse in The Women’s Heart Center at St. Joseph’s, included a description of women’s risk factors for heart disease, the signs of a heart attack and stroke in women and an explanation of heart healthy goals. Carolyn Strimike, RN, MSN and Kathleen Cahill, RN, MSN also attended the presentation. Leaders from NJAWBO and the Women’s Heart Center staff will collaborate to offer this presentation to members of NJAWBO chapters throughout New Jersey.
