WOMEN’S HEART CENTER STAFF COLLABORATES WITH

 INTERDENOMINATIONAL WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

Carolyn Strimike, RN, MSN, (second right) Advanced Practice Nurse in The Women’s Heart Center at St. Joseph’s, presented on African-American and Latina Women and Heart Disease to more than 60 members of the Interdenominational Women’s Conference at a morning seminar held at St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital.  Following Ms. Strimike’s presentation, Dr. Brenda Belmont, (far left) Executive Director of the Gilmore Pre-School, purchased 20 Women’s Heart Center screening gift certificates for the women in the audience. The lucky  winners will receive a comprehensive cardiac risk screening evaluation at The Women’s Heart Center.

Joining Ms. Strimike and Dr. Belmont are Dr. Stephanie Arrington, Professor at Passaic County Community College (second left)  and Cheryl Walters, President of the Sisters Network of Bergen and Passaic County.
